Every evening, as the sun sets and the sacred Ganga flows in serene majesty, Juna Akhara sadhus and devotees gather on the riverbank to perform the Ganga Aarti—a deeply symbolic and spiritually uplifting ritual dedicated to Mother Ganga.
Sacred chants and bhajans fill the air as priests wave oil lamps in synchronized motions.Large brass aarti diyas (lamps) glow brightly, symbolizing light over darkness and purity over ego.
